35 Years for Numatic Henry - But Only in Germany

If you have seen a red pull along vacuum cleaner with a long hose and a smiling face, then you'll know "Henry Hoover" as he is more commonly known. Trouble is, it is not Hoover U.S or Hoover Europe who makes the very popular vacuum, but Numatic who are one of the last remaining British brands around. To celebrate 35 years of the lovable little tub vacuum that is commonly used in many UK homes, hospitals, schools and other industrial areas, Numatic thought it would be wise to bring out a special edition vacuum to mark the celebration. Usually the Numatic Henry vacuum is sold with a black bowler hat top where the hand roller cord rewind mechanism is fitted and below that, the face of Henry's eyes and smile on the red, yellow, blue or other coloured bases. The all red Numatic Henry 35th anniversary edition is all one colour as you can plainly see. Where is the vacuum cleaner on sale though? In Germany. Not the rest of Europe and certainly not in the UK. Whoever thought of that idea has evidently had their head in a dust bag for too long - doh!! (c)Nar2/crystalvisions2016
