White Bread Vs Brown or Wheat Bread

I pack bread with peanut butter in lunch for my kid. She doesn't even touch it if it is a wheat bread. She likes only white bread. But I heard that white bread doesn't have any nutrients in it and it is not good for health. Is it true?
