I was amazed upon receiving an email from Literacy Base yesterday. Although it's not new to me anymore, for I already received a lot of spam emails like this, but this one surprised me for it came from the controversial site like Literacy Base. Below was part of the email and I quote;
"I am Mark Oumar,a lawyer and personal attorney to late Engr.M.M,who died in Togo on the 17th of August 2009 in a car accident. I was mandated to contact you seeing that you bear the same last name to my deceased client whose nationality is yours too. I seek your consent to present you as his next of kin in order to pursue the release of his unclaimed deposit which is valued in some millions of US dollars."
A spam message from their site. Oh, I smell something fishy in here. What can you say about it? Any thoughts?

Yeah, I know. Maybe they thought I'm an idiot and easily believe in their bad actions. To h**l with these people.

Fishy smelling spam. I have received them a time or two. My husband also got a few. If I open my spam folder I am sure that there are more there now.

Yeah, I did ignore it. I'm just wondering why the site allows this kind of message and used their site.

Of course it's a scam but I am amazed at the date 2009? even if it were true, I doubt a lawyer or executor of an estate would keep searching over several years!
