Who was a greater warrior Arjuna or Karna?

In Mahabharata, Pandavas were in the path of Dharma. Kauravas did Adharma. The elder brother Duryodhana did bad deeds one after the other including defeating Pandavas in Pasha game. But history puts a question whether Arjuna or Karna who was greater warrior. When Karna's ratha or horse cart was stuck in the mud, Arjuna threw his arrow and killed Karna. Lord Krishna told Karna that if he had defeated Abhimanyu in Chakravyu by unlawful manner then he had no business asking for fighting in legal way. There were many bans (weapons) which Karna had which could not be tacked by other great warriors in Mahabharata. Their teacher Dronacharya used to considered Arjuna the best.

Dronacharya had hidden agenda behind Arjun being his favorite. Pandavas may have been on the "Dharma" path but they were stupid. Karna had poor decision making skills.

@sathviksouvik I know all of that. That is why I am saying that Karna wasn't any better when he knowingly aided Duryodhan. He wasn't forced in any way.

@Daljinder Thanks DJ for the wonderful comments. Yes, due to joining Duryodhana and helping him in all his evil deeds, the virtues of Karna got washed away. He was a daanveer and gave donations all his life, everything went in vain.
