I have spent all morning inviting friends

I don´t trust messages in cellphones and I will not place an invitation at a FB wall. So I used the old method of calling everyone of my friends. Many times the call implied asking for their family, children and parents. At this time of our lives, the conversation are also extended by the stories of our ailments. And so time goes by and I discover that it is past lunch time and I haven´t done a thing. Well, I did put the drop in my left eye (good for me, yesterday the timing was a mess) and I cooked an onion and potato soup I haven´t eaten yet. It is past 2:00 PM here and my tummy is groaning. I promise that I will do better after lunch. Most of my friends are already called.

You are making good progress. For the onion soup do you add anything else other than tbe seasoning?

After I fry the onion and the pataotes, I pour some broth (which has salt and herbs) and cream and let it simmer so that the onion is still a bit crunchy and the potato just cooked. I place diced cheese in the bottom of the soup dish and pour the soup over it. The cheese melts with the heat.

@marguicha Thanks. I am sure that the melted cheese gives the soup a special flavour.

I know what you mean, when I get on the phone, it takes forever to get off. Hope you enjoyed your dinner.
