The perplexing reality of present day education system

The phase in life when you look back only to realise the worthless manner in which past years have been spent, slogging hard yet without gaining real knowledge. Yes. That is where I am standing right now. Making use of hindsight, I now see school as a factory manufacturing homogenised students in order to protect status quo in society. Is knowledge not supposed to liberate a being? Help us escape the cluches of ignorance and be active members of the socio-political setting?

School might not have taught you relevant knowledge. On hindsight, education and going to schools could be to gain soft skills such as learning how to interact with people

Very well said. Still education ought to be something much more than mere interpersonal skills.

@ShwetaY I agree but I find that education seems to be teaching irrelevant things

i think the quality of education we are dreaming of is available only in top-rated schools, not available to all.
