I wonder how you guys look at religion these days. I know that the fastest growing religion is no religion. Some people argue that due to we get more educated, we tend to not believe anymore. While others argue that with all the violence in the world, it is hard to believe in something. I personally think it is a shame, since religion will always be a part of who we are and where our roots are from. Again, some people use religion as an excuse to do something - like holy-war etc. I would like to know, what you guys think about the topic...

There is religion and spirituality - religion is when you follow a particular system of faith and worship. Spirituality are tje deepest values and meanings by which people live.

I have the same view that God and Jesus have about religion in general that does not represent them and the Bible properly and accurately. Interestingly based on the whole chapter of Matthew 23, Jesus is BLASTING the Pharisees and Sadducees, two prominent, powerful religious groups at that time. Jesus in those verses is condemning their wicked acts. No doubt his heavenly Father, God was pleased because Jesus always did what was pleasing to his heavenly Father.....So again my view is the way God and Jesus view religion today. God's view has NOT changed either (Malachi 3:6)

I'm not "religious". I believe in a personal relationship with Christ. I consider myself a Christ follower. The Bible says in these "End Times" many will fall away so it's really no surprise, but still a little sad. People don't feel as if they need or want a higher power because they can call 911 in an emergency and have all the modern technology. Back in the day you had to call on God, before there was 911 to call. People need to get to rock bottom before they'll call out to Him for help. Some, still refuse to turn to Him. That's the saddest thing of all.
