Out of 5 kids, 4 are either graduating or getting some kind of special award. So, I'm scoping out Pinterest for gift ideas. I know that I'm going to give my son money and a couple Kurt Vonnegut books, but I want a creative way to present it and maybe throw in a few extra things.
My daughter is receiving a special academic award at a private ceremony only her father and I can attend. So, I'm buying her two books that she's wanted and maybe some flowers or a succulent. She LOVES succulents.
My middle son is graduating middle school, and I'm clueless. He's not as academic as the other two, but I want to give him something too. I'd like to get him a laptop, but funds are tight.
My little girl is getting promoted from one preschool class to her last one, but I'm still going to make her a goody bag, probably with stuff from the Dollar Tree.
Then there is my 9 year old who is moving on to 4th grade. I don't want him to feel left out. I'll figure out something.

maybe goody bags for both the youngest? Maybe buy something a little less expensive than a laptop for the middle school graduate? I don't know what his interests are

Wow, lots going on. I don't know how tight funds are, but I got my daughter a tablet on the walmart.com web site for under $50, works great, it came with a case and a keyboard, the keyboard can be used if you want or disconnected. It was a great price and for young teenagers a great gift.

Wow God bless you with 5 kids. I just have 1. There's probably often a lot going on. I'm sure you'll be able to think of something for everyone. I think that the ideas you have so far are great. It can be hard to be creative and I struggle with that. My son is 11 and it may get to a point where I'll be giving him gift cards or money so he can get what he wants.
