Using a GIF on Facebook

I found a photo in an album on my photobucket page and it is a GIF and moves. I believe I have seen moving pictures on Facebook, but when I downloaded it and then uploaded it, it didn't move and my son said there is a way to make it move, but he didn't know how.
Does anyone know how to post a GIF on Facebook so it will move?

I used animated gifs in bubblews and it worked fine and it moved. I also used it in FB. Just copy the URL and paste it.

I uploaded a screenshot of links I see on my photobucket. It is the "Direct" one or the "HTML" that I copy and paste?
And I wonder if my friend uploaded my picture to do the same thing because she had me send the picture to her e-mail and she posted it on her page and it moved. However, when she posted it on my timeline, it did not and so I was confused.

@Macarrosel That is the simple "saving an imagine" onto the desktop, I have been doing that for years. However, I found out what possibly was the problem; my connection is slow and so when I post a GIF, the screen blank, like the screenshot I posted in Joy's thread. When I leave the page up, within 5-10 minutes, the image appears.

@MGjhaud Or just copy the HTML they provide. I am going to try that now.

It's easy, just copy the address and paste. Yet, if you have a slow connection or computer, the image may not show up right away, sometimes taking up to 10 minutes.

A friend of mine uses lunapic to create pictures and then shares them on facebook from there. I tried it and it works!!!!

Yeah, this is on Facebook. I remember on MySpace I could add all kinds of moving pictures, but it was only recently I started seeing it on Facebook and I wonder how it was done.

Hi Letran, it's good to see you. According to @Macarrosel she shares the URL, which I think it the HTML. I posted a screenshot in her thread and hope she can answer both my questions, how to do it and why it didnt' work on my timeline when my friend shared it, though it was working on her timeline.
