Please give me your thoughts on ideas how to stop poverty????
Can it really ever be stopped???

The government should develop more avenues for the unemployed. Work should be made available to all. Education should reach the poor for free. Poor should be adopted by wealthy people and they should be offered work and food. Begging should be made illegal.

Hello and thank you, you state that the wealthy should adopt the poor and be offered work,well to me that sounds alot like slavery to me,If that is hopw it would be then slavery would fall back into place. I think that instead of using our tax money to house jail birds that money could be used to help the poor get established and put all the jail birds in a place and make them work off there crimes that they haVE COMMITTED,iNSTEAD OF LETTING THEM LAY AROUND they should be doing hard labor.
