If you have ever had sea monkeys you know what they look like.
I once sent away for some but unfortunately one of my children knocked the glass over so I could no longer look at them.
They can be placed in a glass of water. It is an amazing creature that seems to be born when placed in water.
Not only children but adults seem to be fascinated with these sea monkies as you can watch them swim and play.
If you don't have any sea monkeys you might want to go out and buy some now for fun.

I had those when I was a kid. They came in a biology kit I received for Christmas. I can't recall if I ever put them in water. I was too mad because I asked for a chemistry set! LOL

Finally someone who remembers those. In a biology kit really. If you can't recall putting them in water then you probably didn't.

That is sad you didn't get the chemistry set you wanted but did you get one when you were older?

Sea Monkey is the name of my browser, a fork from the Mozilla Suite.
I have a good memory of these little animals. Mines came when I was 10 or 11 with a French comic book. The comic book was named "Pif" and the animals "pifises". I did not knew their English name. I am returning to the past with your photo

@Marcyaz And I recommend it if you want a fast and powerful browser with an email client : the browser is a cousin of Firefox, and the email part is derived from Thunderbird.

I always wanted one but my mom wouldn't let me and for that reason, I had forgotten about them and had to look it up. I'm glad I didn't, they look nothing like what is on the package, instead they look like deformed shrimp or something.

I think I might have been more interested in them then the kids were. Oh well the kids did not mean to knock them over just an accident.

@Marcyaz I have never had the chance to have sea monkeys. I remember really wanting them when I was younger but for some reason was never able to get my hands on them. I'd still love to see them!
Hopefully I can find them in stores somewhere!
