Scoliotic.

I went to the city proper this morning for some errands. As usual, I walked again with my violet umbrella shading me from the sun. I think I “strolled” 2 kilometers with the turns I went through in the city. I enjoyed “my time” but when I came home, I felt pain on my lower back because of non-stop ambulation.
My sister and her daughters have the lateral curvature of the spine. There are some Filipino actresses who have this musculoskeletal deformity, and they look like models because their hips sway when they walk. I have a poor posture; it is as if I am bent forward. Although my mother (+) taught me to stand straight, I think I developed that posture because I was always hurrying in doing my work when I was still in school. I carried over that posture, and now…
I feel I have scoliosis. My lower back, specifically my right lumbo-sacral bone is aching and I have to move slowly. I guess I have to visit an old woman who massages her customers with the Holy Oil of our Blessed Virgin. I have to sleep on the bed with semi-hard mattress; pillows on each side when I face sideways; head should be elevated with 2 pillows high.
I took an analgesic but the pain still persists. I hope by tomorrow, I will not longer be… scoliotic!

Why don't you have it checked so as early as now if ever you have it , it can be arrested .
My mother in-law has that , alongside with osteoatrithis s and another one i forgot . She now walks with curved back and takes an as needed medicine for the lower back pain alongside her hip on the right i think . She also takes a medicine for her cartilage i think .

thanks my friend. my back pain is relieved with the way i slept last night. i had 2 pillows on each side.
i cannot take any meds because it should not affect the heart medications i take for the RHD.

i am the regular height of a Filipina, and my weight is not heavy or light, just in the middle. i believe it has something to do too with the bone densities

@ridingbet . . I wish I was in your place so that I could massage your lower back. My late lolo was a quack doctor . . and I think he handed over to me his "quacking" talent.

quack quack quack, kabsat. yes, i do believe in the healing powers of these quack doctors, in fact, i let my back be massaged by an old woman Nana Enciang, when i had a painful lower back last year.
