What Have I Gotten Myself Into????

Our oldest son will be 29 this summer and my youngest will be 23. I haven't had any "kids" in the home for quite some time, not without their parent anyway!! For a week grandma and grandpa will be having grand kids staying with us!! It just dawned on me that's 24/7!! What am I to do with a 11 and 7 year old??? We live in a "village!" We have NO t.v. stations!! Oh, my what is grandma going to do? (Grandpa will be working.) Any suggestions for entertaining grandchildren? Hopefully it will be nice weather, so they can play outside!! ~Peace~ photo is mine (grand daughter and her brother behind her that will be here)

Oooh. How scary! But I'm sure you will all have a great time. 7 and 11 are still young enough to e entertained with simple things. Do some arts and crafts. Have a backyard Olympics. Cook meals together. You said you live in a village, but do you have a library that might have events happening?

That is inviting joy and trouble too - the classic duality of creation - no pains, no gains. I enjoy my time with children but know when to withdraw into my shell! siva

Yikes, well make sure toys are brought along with the kids for starters. And I would get them outside as much as possible to ensure a good nights sleep for all. I do believe you are going to need it lol.
