I usually don´t expect more than I can foresee in the near future (minutes, seconds) ahead of time, but just for the sake of variety, I have set some expectations for today.
I would like to finish the day without interruptions here at the library
Next, I want to see the day clear of clouds and little to no rain for the rest of the day.
Then, I want to have a good night time rest to be able to perform tomorrow with maximum capacity.
And lastly, I would like to find the right kind of food and fruit that will give me the needed vitamins to stay away from the flu.
What are your expectations in the near or not near future?

That´s a very important one. I went back to school long after I quit school when I was a teen ager. You learn lots of things when attending it later in life.

@Jdaw1985 That is true; however, the preparation attained is important.

My expectations for today is that I feel a little less tired. I don´t know if it was because I had to go out, but even though I took a small nap I feel beaten.

@quantum2020 I never eat too much lately. Not even at a party.

You probably ate too much. Sometimes lots of food can throw one in the mat.

That is just about what most of us would like to have, some cool day.

That is good. As long as life progresses accordingly, one should be fine.
