In this day and age do you know where your kids are at nite. I know both of mine are at home. That saying was a commercial a while ago.

I'm 21 years old and I have to say that parents should keep better track of where their kids actually are. I remember I used to get so mad at my mom for "getting into my business" with my whereabouts, but now I admire her for it. It's easy for your kids to lie to you and say that they are staying at a friends house, but really they could be out at some college party or out causing trouble. My mom would call ahead to the places I would go ahead of time to make sure this was where I was really going, I didn't like her for it at the time but not I understand why she did it.

Back in the day when that commercial first came out, my kids were fast asleep in their beds. It bothered me knowing that some people didn't know where their kids were. Now that they are grown up, I worry about them all the time. You can't keep them little forever.

I know where my kids are right now...they are all home from school because it is a snow day. :) But yes, I always know where my children are. They know that I do not give them enough freedom to be anywhere that they want to be. LOL

Since I have no kids, it doesn't apply to me. I remember when they said that on the radio when I was younger, though.

if you really want to know where your kids are at night or if they are really on a school trip for example why not give them a gps tracker? or hide one in their bag lol.. this store has a couple of trackers that may be of some interest they even have one for young children http://qualitydiscounts4u.ecrater.com/c/1298205/gps-tracking-devices

As chrisdarryn said it is better to place some Gps tracker with them so that your child can be easily tracked without any tension. Source:-
