Is the Lady Hydari Park in Shillong worth visiting?

Shillong in the state of Meghalaya is called the Scotland of the East. It has beautiful mountains, that is the extention of himalayas, good waterfalls and good landscape.
Among the different destinations in Shillong, Lady Hydari Park is the park, which in the foothills of Shillong had been a fantastic location,
There is a beautiful lake, where people go for boating. There are beautiful lawns, very good greenery and also good bamboo trees.
If visitors go to visit Shillong they should visit Lady Hydari Park.

Thanks Marcyaz for the interesting question. Yes Lady Hydari, was the wife of the Governor of Assam, who build the park in the 1930s. At that time, Shillong fell within the state of Assam. Presently shillong is the capital of the state of Meghalaya.

@Marcyaz Thanks Marcyaz, yes the park has been named after the Governor's wife. The park is very well maintained, it looks beautiful both in the morning and the evening.
