As my younger sister will soon settle down with her boyfriend, our house has been reconstructed. My mom decided to divide the house for me and my sister. As I see the construction workers on the other part of the house, I could not help but miss my room which will be a part of my sister's house. It was constructed by our dad lovingly. He was so thoughtful to consider my favorite color in designing my room. He painted it green and he also made bookshelves for me as he knows how much I love books.
I wrote this post as I am missing my daddy so much and I think I am getting sentimental. I might not have my room anymore but I know I will still have my bookshelves with me.
How about you? What makes you sentimental?

I believe that single persons are independent. Being single make them strong.

@skysnap Life is all about balance and I think so that everything has its own pros and cons. Single or with family, both of them experience opportunities and adversities.

It has not been easy for me to move on. It is easier to move on from a break up than to move on from the fact that my daddy left us already.

Filipinos are normally sentimental. Every little things count to them and bring memories that's why it's hard to let go of things easily. But not me. I'm not sentimental, but I get emotional when I remember my parents.

If I experienced what you had, I will be emotional too. What you had in the past was truly heart breaking. No one ever wants to be orphaned at a very young age.

Your mother still doesn't want your younger sister to part with all of you , so she has the house divided . That's so sweet of her . At least they will not have to rent a house anymore and she's just near you and your mother .
Is your father deceased already ?

@annierose That's understandable why she is like that saying she is tired already . She just misses your father .
What you should all do is to make her feel important still and is still needed . That way , she will be motivated to live a longer life still.

It might not be that easy too to sell a house that was built by your parents. Perhaps it took you so much time to convince yourself to sell it.
