It is most frustrating for artistes when they are pushed into a corner by the pressure of earning as much as corporate sector jobs. Art takes time to flourish and flair. It doesn't happen in a day. It takes years of discipline, courage and intelligence to create a work of art that takes people's breath away.

This is true. For some art is not really a money making machine. Not everyone earns a living just by doing art alone. But I believe that if one continues to follow his/her passion in art one day it will pay off. Not necessarily monetarily, but in priceless things such as happiness and joy.
