Our local supermarket had a good deal where if you bought $50 worth of meat on Monday you would receive 20 cents off on gasoline for every package of meat. I couldn't pass that up so $50 was spent there now I have lots of food in my freezer again. Of course I spent more than that with the other items that were bought but the good thing is when I fill up the tank on my vehicle again it will be at a lower price. Do you have anything like that at your supermaket?

Is it $0.20 cents off for every gallon? Or for the total?

@marlina It is twenty cents off every gallon of gasoline up to 20 gallons. So you can fill up more than one vehicle.

That's a really good deal. Winn Dixie has a rewards card that takes 5 cents off a gallon of gas for every $50 of groceries you buy.

ours has something similar, I love when it's every gallon of milk gives you tens cents off a gallon of gas!

We have one small grocery chain that offers great meat deals. They have a 5 for $49.95 deal. You can mix and match several types of meat. Pork chops, hamburger, smoked link sausages, chopped steak, ribeyes, stew meat and pre-made hamburgers. They are large packages and I always get at least $100 worth at a time. I can make several meals off of these deals. No gas savings unless I go somewhere like Sam's Club.

@Shellyann36 They have a gasoline station here in town that is hooked up with the supermarket for the savings on gasoline so that is good. Sounds like a good deal for you also where you can mix and match your meats.
