My family and I are normal, but not that close to each other. I'm the youngest of 3 children. My sister is 6 years older than me and my brother is 9 years older than me. In the house or in the car, we usually never talk to each other. Probably just small talk, but never a real conversation.
But recently, we're starting to talk a little. Me and my sister started to get closer. at least we can start a conversation and share some secrets. And with my brother, we started to talk a little sometimes, but never a conversation. I'm not really talkative at home, and so as he.
Even though it's better now, I'm just wondering, is it normal?

I am honestly an only child but I have half and step-siblings that I never really talk to as an adult. So I guess that it is normal not to be able to talk to each other much.
