Treasure

Have been scrolling through Facebook and saw so many articles on accidental deaths. And it just reminded me that life is fragile. Any accident could happen anywhere in the most unexpected way ever, even during routines. Treasure your loved ones - tell your family that you love them, tell your friends that you appreciate them, and always remember to be kind to strangers as well ;)

What you say is so true. There are sayings and songs about this. There's a couple songs about living like you're dying that speak to this. We have to be careful not to take our loved ones for granted. We don't want to have regrets when we realize we're dying. They also say that our lives flash before our eyes before we die. I'll bet what we remember would contain memories with loved ones. This is such a good reminder.

What a great comment, thank you for this! :) I've always wanted to think back (when I'm on my deathbed) that my life have been a meaningful one not only for myself but an impactful one for the people around me as well! :)

Agreed! I guess loving yourself isn't being selfish - it's all part of loving others who love you ;)
