Lost my ID!

Man, this hasn't happened in SO long that I forgot how frustrating it is to go without an ID. I guess some time between a few days ago and now I must have misplaced it. I have checked in all the usual spots for it with no luck. I am so disappointed in myself. Just in time for the weekend, I have no ID. This is somewhat problematic as it seems I am always getting carded for everything. Cigarettes, beer, whatever. How frustrating! I am going to keep looking but basically I am going to go to the DMV this afternoon and get the ball rolling on getting a new one. It could be anywhere. So sad. I called a few of the places I have been and used it last, with no luck. Have you done this lately? Or ever? Did you end up finding it?

I thought I lost my id one time but I left it with my boyfriend in his wallet since we went to an amusement park and I did not want to carry my wallet. I hope your ID turns up but getting a replacement is a good start!

Ah that's good! I keep hoping to have a "ah ha!" moment as to where I would have put it, but I think I legitimately lost it this time. Lol. sad.

@maezee aw bummer! I hope the replacement comes in quickly. I hate lines at the DMV though. I'm sure they will give you a paper temporarily one when you go

Here also. And it usually takes a long time to receive them in the mail, at least 1 month or so. Eek!

I rarely have to pull mine out anymore, but you might as well bite the bullet and order a new one.

My ID got stolen once with my walet, i was furious knowing someone just tossed it in the trash somewhere.I did not even bother looking for it because when i reported to the police, they told me the thief will probably just take the money and toss the rest in a container. For now, i dont have an ID either, mine expired in January but my passport is valid till september, so im waiting to renew both at the same time, cost about $100 less if done together.

It has been a long time that i have done that...it ended up being in my jeans pocket instead of me putting it back in my wallet where it belongs.

We will misplace and lose things but the good thing is, we can replace those things, and although it's quite frustrating. We have to take the steps to obtain what we've lost again. I hope everything works out for you.
