My husband was diagonosed with azoospermia where he has zero sperm count. So only option to take the sperm is to be operated .
Already once we operated and did ivf but it was failure . We did it in california spent lot of my money . Already i have lupus a autoimmune disease doing second round ivf it may trigger my lupus then i may have flare up which is not good it can affect my vital organs. So i am thinking of doing iui with donor sperm but my mother in law is against it . My husband is ok with donor but i am still confused

Mother in law wants her son's child isn't she? Did you look into adoption? I think it's couples decision. Not mother in law's

@Daljinder omg i never thought of that .There is a chance she may change her mind i will ask my husband to convince her . If she is not going to get convinced means im thinking its better to lie .not telling her its from donor

@nandhinimangalraj When she is already protesting it, she probably will treat the child differently. But there also is a chance that she may change her mind after seeing the child. Only your husband can help her understand. Whatever you will say to her will be taken in offense by her. Let your husband deal with her.
And I didn't want to say this but I feel if the baby comes from donor, she will treat you differently too.

@nandhinimangalraj why was that?
is the sperms not strong enough to swim to the uterus?
