It must be rough for musicians, singers, and music producers. Being in such a competitive industry can create a lot of tension for so many in the business. There's the drama and the suspense but what would we do without the music? What would entertainers do without the fans? Some artists have lost their money because they either didn't understand the business side of the industry or they were taken fro granted. That's why it's important for them to have true people around them. Sometimes artists work more than they earn. There's lots to be paid out before they receive their money and some may receive very little because of low record sales. That's why they have to work extra hard. Touring and guest appearances are necessary for them continue to make steady income. Some artists have dabbled with producing which will generate more income for them. If they're not surrounded by solid people then they could lose whatever they've earned. In order for an artist, singer, or producer to strive. They must put out the demand. Without the demand their business will crumble. Give the fans what they want and then the sells will increase. If artists don't good promoters who know how to "promote" effectively then they will suffer greatly. It's important to know the business before jumping in the music industry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N46hTSoTuG4

Not a field that I would want to venture in. There are fewer success stories and more failures.

That's true. Two of my sons plan on trying to get into the business. One has to have tough skin in order to survive in such an industry.

@Teep11 My daughter is a vocalist and has tried to get herself noticed. Living in a small town you really don't have many opportunities. Unless you know someone in the business you really don't have a chance.

I used to want to be part of the music industry, I realized that it was going to be a tough thing to venture from. I ended up having a guy not want to talk to me because I called me wanting not be interested in the music industry as stupid, as he was a music promoter or whatever. But I didn't think music was stupid, just for me to venture in it. I thought I'd have better luck being struck by lightening

We just take time to move by these songs.
