Who is a greater actor Om Puri or Naseeruddin Shah?

Actors Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah had been two stalwart actors who helped the parallel films of 1980s.
Om Puri acted in landmark roles in Govind Nihalini's films Aakrosh, Ardhya Satya, Tamas, to name a few. He also worked in Satyajit Ray's Sadgati.
Naseer acted in Shyam Benegal's Nishant, Ketan Mehta's Mirch Masala, Goutam Ghosh's Paar.
Both Om Puri and Naseer did great job in commercial films like China Gate, Mohra, Krishna, Ghayal, to name a few.
They are gifted actors and versatile also.

@shubhu3 In dumb roles also Om Puri did great job. One example was Govind Nihalini's Aakrosh. He played the role of a convict who was alleged to have killed his wife. He was dumb. He was outstanding in that role.

Thanks Avinashji, yes Om Puri's voice is unique compared to many actors. He modulated the voice in many films.

Om Puri is an excellent actor whom I have seen in a number of English language movies. He was very good as Papa in the The Hundred Foot Journey.
