Am I a millennial or a generation X?

The theme of the next season of Survivor is Millennials vs Generation X and that inspired me to do discussion. I was born in the late 80's but I grew up in the 90's. My Parents are from the Baby Boomers generation. Though I grew up with technologies like video games and the internet, I felt like I was more of a Generation X person. I remember during the 90's the people from the Baby Boomer generation accuses Generation X kids as Lazy people. Decades later, The Generation X is now the majority of the work force and many people from Generation X are in the Field of Politics, Science and Medicine. The Pattern seemed to repeat it self because now it is the Generation X who makes accusations against the Millennials. Generation X accuses the Millennials as Lazy, self entitled, whiny social justice warriors who depends too much on technology and can't spend the day without making selfies. Majority of the Millennials are born where internet already exists, I was born in an era where internet is not yet a commodity.
