What Does The Future Hold For Us?

“The Former Things Will Not… Come Up Into The Heart” For those who are Bible readers, you can find these words at Isaiah 65:17-25 , along with the promise that God is “creating new heavens and a new earth” and the “wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull…They will do no harm, nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain…” So, our Creator has revealed what he will do in the near future. What are these “former things” that will not “come up into the heart?” The context shows that these former things are injustice, sickness, suffering, and many other woes that plague humankind.
