I was actually not in favor of eating Paneer at any time nor was I having the interest to study the benefits of different eatables. Just casual eater and to adjust myself whatever is available for eating was my principle especially when I take on tour. Actually, I was under the impression eating paneer would add to my body weight and that it does not have any value than to add some problems to my heart adding extra cholesterol. But, this has been proved wrong during my 1-month stay in Missouri where I had to add it to my diet regularly in one or other item. The benefits relating to health are amazing as below; Paneer is prepared by curdling the milk with lemon or vinegar. It is not only delicious but also an integral part of the diet especially in Nort.India.This is a good source of Calcium, protein, and healthy fats. The carbohydrate content is low in paneer and as such it is a good option for diabetics. It greatly helps in weight loss and minimizes the risk of cancer by reducing the amount of bad cholesterol. Paneer is rich in potassium which is essential in controlling the blood pressure. It strengthens the immune system due to the presence of compounds that help strengthen the immune system and as such prevents the problems like Common cold, Asthma and cough.

I really like Shahi Paneer. I always order that in an Indian restaurant, and I have made it at home as well.
