Much needed respite!!!

The summer sun was frying us, it was like a butter melting as it got tossed in the pan. The people were reeling under the severe heat, had their back pushed on to the wall & cornered. The incumbent rain saved our day. The summer heat was believed to be inexorable & it was the spell of showers which saved the day for us. Though it had not lasted for several days as it would during the monsoon season, it just draped the city with the comforting cold blanket. Sun is now craving to come after the part played by the rain, it had indeed peeped out & growing in intensity for the past few days. Only a week left for the peak summer time to end, the grim looming large in all the faces has changed to a GRIN!!!

When the monsoon season arrives with all those floods, we will be wishing for summer days out in the sun.

We should be prepared for excess of heat and rain as climate change is on us - siva

The scientists are still debating about the veracity of "climate change" Personally I believe "Climate change" is a natural process and humans play an insignificant role.

@josie_ I think it is well proved that we are going overboard with fossil fuel playing a significant part - siva
