I'm type of person that always listening music while i'm doing something including working. For me, listening music will keep me focus and speed up my work. If my surrounding is quite, i tend to lost my focus because i keep thinking about others things. I know some of people need a quite surrounding to keep their concentations while working on something. So, how bout you? Working while listening the music will distract you or in contrary will help?

Music helps me while doing work online. I always use headphones to listen to music. At first I thought I was going to get damage to my ears; however, It´s been more than three years since I´ve been using headphones and I don´t have any symptoms of damage.

We have the same thing in common. I hear music the whole day while doing my chores or writing. No, it is not distructing me.

Music is extremely distracting to me. I used to be able to listen to music as I worked on my homework. Today, that's just not possible. I end up trying to sing along and forget what I'm working on. I lose my focus once the words start spewing from the speakers. I love listening to music while I work out, but other than that- nope. It just doesn't work out.
