This morning my family went to the high school down the road from our house. They where having in cafeteria a free clothe drive for families in need. The school had emailed my husband letting us know this was happening this weekend. I know we don't have a tone of money to buy clothes for the kid so this free drive was very nice. We walked in a little after 9am when it started ans found some clothes for two of my kids. I couldn't find anything for my youngest in his size. I need to get him 12 month footies. I got some bigger clothes for my daughter to grow in to and the same for my oldest boy.

Those are the best drives for people who truly need them. Glad to see you got some clothing for your children.

@ShyBear88 we often have churches that offer free clothing to families in need. Maybe you could go to a local church and put in a request. Often times they will do a collection specifically for a family in need.

@ElusiveButterfly where we love the schools fun a lot of clothing drives it's just about hearing about when they will happen. I lot of times I'll shop the recycle groups where I live and there is one that offers free stuff. I've donated old clothes there from my kids and have gotten free clothes from the, as well.

Free clothing is nice.I'm sure the drive was appreciated. It's nice when we can obtain clothing at a discount price and when it's free. It's an extra blessing.

Oh yes ans normally I miss these because I doubt find out till after the fact when my daughters school sends home the papers late. But since she'll be going to Kindergarden next year we will be well informed ahead of time.
