My Facebook friend just shared that NASA has confirmed that the Earth will experience 1 day of darkness on June 2nd 2016. This news is come from http://now88news.com/2016/05/13/nasa-earth-will-experience-1-day-darkness-june-2nd-2016/ I don't know whether it is true. Or it is scam.

No, I don't believe it. This is something that is spread on social media sites from time to time. However, I'd be quite glad if it did happen as I'm doing the night shift on the 2nd so would be able to sleep easier during a dark day!

It is more like a rumor in my opinion as I haven't heard this news yet. As it is quite a shocking big news if the world is dark in a whole day. The governments shall inform us so that we can prepare for it well.
