A season Three (1997) episode of Hercules that flashes forward to show descendants of recurring cast members caught up in The French Revolution, with a Tale Of Two Cities spoof. The costume and scenery and stunt work are great, but not much more. This could have been much more fun than it was. It is spoilt by Kevin Sorbo’s dreadful French accent, and a tendency to use flashbacks to the ancient Greek adventures (including bizarrely, flashbacks to Conan The Barbarian and Spartacus). Robert Trebor is actually very good as the Chartreuse Fox, a kind of ageing Scarlet Pimpernel who trains Sorbo & Hurst in his skills, but this feels like a grossly wasted opportunity to fire up a decent if unlikely spin-off series. @trivia79 I do like the Hercules TV series - it had some great episodes - though companion show Xena was better by far

I used to watch this series but don't remember this particular episode. Of course, its companion series Xena had a more visual appeal lol.
