If you read my post about how my son bought me a hard copy of "The Stranger" for Mother's Day (http://www.mylot.com/post/2929280/the-inscription-in-my-most-prized-possession) you would know that I collect copies of this famous book by Albert Camus. I also read each one because each translation is a bit different. However, I have been looking for a copy of the original, in French, for a long time! I finally found a great used copy in Carlsbad, California at a little bookstore called Fahrenheit 451 books. What a great name for a bookstore, right? I love that book too! Actually, it was my son that found the book. I didn't even know they had a French section. I'm so happy! Maybe I will have a copy of every version of this book someday.

@cpefley Thats one of the books ive been constantly reading for the past 40 years and I never tire of it. He's definitely my favourite french writer. I've read all his words. My favourite is his La Morte Heureuse, the precursor to L'Etranger. Enjoy the read.

Same here. I love Camus and have been reading this book for almost 20 years, since I was 18. I have also read, The Plague, which is one of my favorites, and The Myth of Sisyphus.
