Hillary Calls Trump Out On Tax Returns

Hillary Clinton, in her latest salvo at the Trump campaign, has declared that Donald Trump is afraid to release his tax returns because of what they will reveal about him and his business dealings. I have to be tempted to agree with her. Trump has never been accused of letting ethics or morals interfere with getting ahead in business. If making money meant evicting little old ladies or using eminent domain to cheat people out of the homes that had been in their families for decades, Trump wouldn't hesitate to do so if it could make him a buck.
There is the bigger question, though, of what else those tax returns the Trump campaign is so eager to keep out of the public eye might reveal?
Will Trump release his tax returns? What do you think they will show about him and his business dealings?

Why is everyone with Hilary in obsessing on Trump's tax returns and the nefarious info they believe they contain? Where is the concern over the Clintons having been financed by the hated by liberals "evil" Wall Street for decades which is a proven fact, millions donated by Middle Eastern and other foreign interests in hopes of future presidential favors and all the proven shenanigans of the Clinton Foundation where it was revealed last week that only $64,000 out of each donated $1 million reaches charity while the rest goes to "administrative fees" i.e. Bill's suits. Where is the hue and cry over Hilary's greed in insane speaking fees? You are so concerned over Trump's actions but not over proven dubious Clinton financial dealings?

@JohnRoberts, you know I am no fan of Hilary and have nothing but disdain and distrust for the Clintons. I am also no fan of The Donald and have the same level of disdain and distrust for him. Both of them are amoral and ethically challenged. The difference is, Hillary's dirty laundry is out there for all the world to see while Trump's is being kept secret.
I think the real problem The Donald has in releasing his personal tax returns is probably that they will show his personal holdings and income are relatively miniscule compared to the corporate and trust holdings where most of his wealth is actually held. When that comes out, he will become a target for the liberals who will excoriate him for paying his "personal" expenses with corporate dollars and getting a deduction for it.

@DWDavis We never had much of a choice on either side. Crazy Bernie who never held a real job in his life and lives off taxpayers. It was revealed Cruz was financed by fat cats despite his "I'm an outsider rebel" stance. Kasich received liberal money. Bush? Everybody sucked on both sides for one reason or another except for Dr. Ben who is a fine man but not equipped to run a country. We are so screwed.

This is turning out to be a bit of an American presidential campaign tradition and I don't understand why anyone would want to make a big deal out of it. Joe Schmoe from Wichita, Kansas isn't going to find some big illegal scandal that the IRS somehow missed. If Trump is doing some real shady tax evasion, we are not going to be able to figure that out looking at his tax return. Mean things like foreclosing on little old ladies and other less fortunate people don't show up on a tax return either. Tax returns will only show where he earned his money that he claimed, what he was allowed to claim as deduction and not much else. I think the whole exercise is a very public flashy waste of time. Remember Mitt Romney's evil tax return? I thought that whole episode was funny. This won't be far off the last go round.

The only thing interesting I ever learned from a candidates tax return was to find out the Al Gore never gave money to charity. Allegedly, though, Trumps returns show that he somehow avoided paying personal income taxes while making millions. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

There is no legal requirement for a candidate, nominee, or the President himself, to reveal his tax return. That information is protected by law for all people regardless of if they hold office or not.
Traditionally, starting a few decades ago, nominees began releasing their tax information to prove they had nothing to hide.

Hillary's dirty laundry is already out there for all to see, as John noted above. She's got her hands on so much dirty and questionable money it is pathetic. But there must be a good reason for Trump to want to keep his tax returns a secret or he wouldn't be keeping them a secret, at least that's what the liberals want us to believe. In this case, I tend to believe them.

I don't think that Trump will release his tax returns until the last minute ... so he can say he did it, but most people will already have committed to deciding who they will vote for.
