Be extremely active.Make 50-60 responses/comments each day. Lots of people do it and make $1 a day here.

Well, you can probably reach your goal if you decide to really focus on myLot alone and it means you have to sit the whole day doing all the activities to earn. Just do not expect that it is a money making machine, I guess you have to enjoy it first and use it for other purposes too and not only to make money. It is a great way to learn from discussions (if you want to know about something) and use that learnings for your other activity like blogging etc (but of course you do not copy word by word that is plagiarism.

You probably couple but you would have to be extremely active but other wise the I would just do what I can when I can ans if you make it you make if you don't you don't becaus you know next month you will.

Put up good interesting posts that aren't trivial. Make the effort and do the time commenting and responding. The time and effort, the more reward.
