I´m glad I remembered to buy the mouse.

Today I remembered to buy the mouse for the second computer. And just now, when I changed the laptop from the dining room to my bedroom, the mouse fell to the floor. I turned the laptop on, but the mouse would not work. And after some time, I realised with a shock that the mouse had opened and I could see its interiors. I got a rubber band and wrapped around it, no it didn´t work. It was then that I remembered about the new mouse. And I changed it and here I am, mylotting away. Mighty mouse saved the day!!!

I couldn't begin to tell you how many wireless mice I own. I always end up needing a mouse for my laptop and can't find my extras. I now have a pile of extras for emergency situations. I also have a stash of batteries, since I use my computer so much. I'm glad the mouse saved your day! I know the feeling of frustration when you have nothing to work with.

@marguicha If you have any "logitech" mice, you'll be happy to know that they offer different collaborating techniques now. They have a program that allows any mouse to calibrate to the wireless plugin. :)

@lexinonomous As I bought a second mouse to be a spare one, it is an unexpensive thingy that has to be plugged.

@DesirousDreamer No they don´t. Everything is disposable. And although things are less expensive, it is a pity that the world is being loaded with a lot of junk.

@marguicha That is a shame. My boyfriend's cooler just broke last night. They don't build things as tough as they used to.

I always use a mouse because they are much easier to manipulate than the touchpad on a laptop.

@marguicha I can use the touchpad, but much prefer a mouse.

The touchpad is as difficult for me as the tiny letters to send messsages at the cell phone.

It can be rough when the mouse stops working but it was a good thing that you had a back up.

Bummer that the old one broke. Good thing that you just got a new one. Glad to see you on the site writing away.
