Thoughts on myLot Mobile App!

Let me clear first thing that I'm not a mobile developer who intends to create it! This post is just to see how many people will be excited to see the myLot app! I've been browsing myLot on the Chrome browser in my phone; I find it good there. But, when it comes to an app, it will be a different ball game! We'll be dealing with only myLot and maybe we can receive notifications from the app to know anybody has liked or commented on discussion. Being an IT Business Analyst, I see many challenges, but first thing, whether the myLot community is fascinated for the app? Somebody from myLot admin team can also participate, sharing whether they received any such request!

I think the mobile site is quite responsive and functional so there is really no need for an app. Moreover you can configure the email notification settings to send updates to your mail once every hour and then sync your email/Gmail app on you phone to check for notifications. Hope you're finding your time at MyLot enjoyable, be it on mobile or laptop!

Not really sure why they would need it, they have a mobile version of the website that works totally well on smart phones. In fact I would argue it works better than the original site. Lol. You should check that out.

Hi Aditya! Well, I usually use my laptop for Mylot so I really don't know. However, having different options is always better. I am sure that there are many other Mylotters who post on Mylot use their smartphones as well. I guess to make it easier, some features may not be available for mobile users. Anyway, I am afraid I do not have much technical expertise when it comes to mobile phone apps so I am just looking at the benefits of having an app for smartphone users. Great suggestion, though!

If mylot release official app for mylot then it would be better, last night I tried to access myLot on my phone and I find it hard specially when you're going to use the "Message" the user because it's a pop up on my screen
