How does myLot as a website make money?

Ive been quite fascinated as to how websites that pay their users manage to earn money and run profitable ventures. Can someone tell me how myLot works from the website's point of view?

I see you have your answer from JJ. You can choose which sites you use adblock on, at least I can, so I have it on for everywhere but here.
