He got in!!! / myLot

Yesterday afternoon and evening was exciting and a happy one. My husband learned while he was at the bus stop waiting for our daughter to come home that he got an email from UVA which is the school he applie to a week ago. He got in and he is supper excited! He will take two classes this summer have the rest of summer off. Then start in the fall full time. The good part is he is taking classes right here at our local community college so he doesn't have to commute to class on campus which is a 3 to 4 hour drive. So he'll only have to go up there when he graduates. I'm happy for my husband and I'm okay with taking on most of the load so he can reach his dream!

Thank you! I promised him two years ago if this was what he wanted to do to better himself and become a teacher then I will help him. I got pregnant not to long after that he was scared and wanted to quick but I made him stick it out because I told him we can do this and I can do this I have help if I really need it and I have had family stop over help with dinner, help put the kids to bed. His dream will come true and it'll show our kids work hard, study hard and you can make your dreams come true one day.

@ShyBear88 That is an AWESOME example to set for your kids! Also your setting another example of team work in a marriage-which is also great for them to see. =)
