Bill Pevitz of Fansided reports the news on Tuesday the San Francisco Giants have placed their outfielder Angel Pagan on the 15 day disabled list with a strain on his left hamstring that was injured during a baseball game on Monday versus the San Diego Padres.
The Giants have called up from their AAA minor league team the Sacramento River Cats outfielder Jarrett Parker to replace Pagan on their 25 man roster.
Parker will share outfield duties with Gregor Blanco while Pagan will on the Giants 15 day disabled list.
Pagan had suffered a similar injury on May 1, 2016 during a game versus the New York Mets. The Giants decided not to place Pagan on the disabled list at the time.
Pagan should be back with the team when he is eligible to come off the disabled list just after two weeks since he has a strain to his left hamstring which should heal quickly.

Sorry, I don't watch baseball games, so I could not comment here.

That's not good. Pagan is a key player and down a second time. A reoccurring hamstring strain is bad news.
