Why did she do it with me?Are friends so selfish and if yes then I really don't need them. One of my close friend suggested me not to get admission in abroad because according to her I may not be able to manage alone and she can't live without me so I felt that she is right.I was so much influenced by her so called advice that I believed her and did not submit my application to abroad. Now comes the shocking part.!Yesterday I came to know that she got admission in a university in abroad.she sent her application.Really shocknig!she is not even picking up my calls and avoiding me.This time her longing for me and her home ,all have just vanished?Need a answer to this question..

If she is a good friend, she should have encouraged you to submit your application together with hers. She might be ashamed of what she did that's why she's not answering your call.

@Divyanshi45 ... how about if she comes to you and ask forgiveness and then tell you that she did not intend to something like "fool" you? There are times that best friends become our best enemies. Hope it will not happen to both of you.

So she discouraged you from applying, then applied herself? That's not the action of a true friend.

It sounds to me like she didn't think that she would be accepted into a program abroad, so she feared losing you. It was wrong of her to ask you to give up an amazing opportunity, but you did make the choice to stay. She would be foolish to not take the opportunity abroad, but I don't think what she did to you was right at all. If you can't get a hold of her, I would leave it alone for a few weeks.
