How do you handle mistakes?

When you make a mistake, do you make up excuses to explain yourself? If so, do you think people believe you? Explain ....

I don't make up a n excuse, i explain myself!! But every mistake i make, i try to learn from it... PS- every post in my discussions is rated!

i think that if i try to explain myself, it will appear as if i'm being defensive. If i really made a mistake, i would admit it straight out and get it over with.

Sometimes i admit my mistake and sometimes i make excuses. And when i make excuses sometimes people understand that i m making excuses and they just forgive me without saying anything.

it depeends if i know i did i admit hey i messed up whats done is done you know but if i dont know i made one than they need to confront me about it i think it is based on trust and if u cant confront them then why should u trust them but me i admit when i messed up
