Does spirits exist in big castles, palaces?

Cricketer Sourav Ganguly in one Dadagiri Program said he was allowed to stay in one castle in Bristol in UK, when he was captain of Indian cricket team. The hotel was full and he was given the room where the owner used to live. At 12 midnight Ganguly heard the tap water flow in bathroom. He closed the tap. He told the reception about. At 4 pm again the tap water continued to flow. In the morning the hotel authorities changed his room and said that room was not given to anyone as the owner of the castle used to stay there. Other cricketers like Brett Lee also complained about spirits in the room. Similar type of experiences are there in Nagour Fort in Rajasthan, Bhangarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh Fort. Those Forts which had been converted into hotels, there the spirits of ancestors are told that they roam around.

Thanks Shrutiji. Those who had gone to Kumbhagarh Fort in the evening after sunset people face hallucinations. Same is the case with Nagaur Fort. The big palaces have large rooms and no persons. So spooky feeling comes in mind.

Thanks Ilocosboy for the comments. Many places which are empty and not surrounded by persons get haunted feelings.
