Counting Down to the End of School

It actually doesn't mean all that much to me personally since I don't get summer vacation. But, the girls are definitely excited about school being over with after the end of next week. And, I have to admit, the last several days of it do seem to drag on, mostly because they've reached the point where they are only getting busy work. My oldest daughter does get a new end of school milestone today, however. She gets to empty out her gym locker and bring her gym clothes home for the last time this year. They are apparently just going to play games for the next 2-3 classes. Also celebrating summer break this year will be my wife. She started a new job last fall working for the school district's food services department. As a result, she has off when the kids do. She still will work her second job, as a bartender, a couple days each week though, just so she has some money.
