I love watching horror movies. It should be a late weekend night with all of the lights off and a amazing horror movie! Some of my favourites include The Conjuring, Wrong Turn, The Hills Have Eyes, Insidious and Sinister. This is just a short list. There are many more movies on my list. So what are your favourite horror movies?

The orignal Japanese version of The Grudge is better. The english ones are also good, but not as good.

Horror movies are, along with thrillers and fantasy movies, one of my preferred ways of spending weekend nights. It's quite hard for me to choose my favorite ones as there are many whom I really enjoyed watching, but I would try to name a few that are very likely to be in my Top10 of all times: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, The Hills Have Eyes, The cabin in the Woods, and a few Japanese ones(not the American remakes) like The Grudge, Ringu or One Missed Call.

That's very nice picks indeed! Many of them are slasher horror films I see.

The three Insidious movies are amazing. I actually heard that they're making a 4th. So excited!

@bacon147 it was still good. I do agree that it wasn't as good as the first two. Rose Byrne was really amazing in those movies.

I could go on and on with this subject because I love horror movies so much. When I sit down to watch one I normally go straight for the classics like, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th or even Childs Play. I do like the really stupid ones too that make you laugh and seem completely unrealistic. Sinister is a very scary one though anything having to do with kids is frightening, that movie gave me nightmares it was that good!
