This scenario where many have to work on late nights for various reasons. But in medical point of view, one should have night sleep to have proper balance in life. What's your view on this ?

You need good sleep ... If you miss your sleep then the day goes bad ... So take your health seriously

I used to work 1pm to 9pm one week and then 9am to 5pm the next week on a rotating shift pattern. I prefer the late shift as I could stay up late watching films and have a lay-in or go to the gym when it's not too busy in the mornings but it did mean that I didn't see my friends a much because I was finishing work too late to go out as everyone else had to get up early for work. Plus, if I wanted to go to London for a gig, I had to book the whole day off of work instead of half a day so my holiday allowance went really quick,

Not all people have the same biorhythm. But the majority does indeed need their night sleep.
