The End of Nashville

United States

Tonight is the night that my beloved "Nashville" TV show will air it's finale. I was so shocked and saddened when I heard the news of it's cancellation. I know TV shows come and go all the time and this is probably no exception, but I just felt like this one was special. Sure it's a family drama, but what really drew me in were the actors and their amazing voices. The country music was a plus for me as well since I grew up on it and have loved it ever since my mom introduced me to her Shania Twain tapes. There is still a chance for a season 5 since so many fans also love the show and have been on Facebook and Twitter to express their opinions of ABC's stupid decision and have been using many hashtags to try and get another network to pick up the series, the most notorious being #BringBackNashville. If any of you out there also love this show as much as I do, I'm sure you will be crying right along with me tonight as we say goodbye to our beloved characters and the songs that they shared with the world. PS: If you haven't bought the CD's or the iTunes songs, you should! The artists are all so talented and the songs really hit your soul so deep.

Nashville has been on the renewal bubble every season and it was thought it would survive again. ABC has a new president who wasn't thrilled by it.The former president loved it. At least they could have had the decency to allow the show to wrap everything up.

There is NO way they can wrap up all the stories in 1 hour and have it be somewhat decent.

@DanieGirl80587 Had the writers been given warning the final several episodes could have wrapped things up.

Oh no how sad is that and tonight is the last of it but hey we can always hope that another network will pick it up and it will continue so the fans can still see it.

I hope so. I already have the CD's and DVD's at least so I will still have it with me. I just hope they continue it because there is still so much story to tell!

Maybe one of the cable or streaming networks will pick the show up.

That's what we are hoping for. I'm hoping for any station to get their hands on it and try to resurrect it.
