Denver Post reporter Patrick Saunders said on Wednesday the Colorado Rockies have activated from the 15 day disabled list right handed relief pitcher Jason Motte.
The Rockies to make room for Motte on their 25 man roster have sent to the 15 day disabled list left handed relief specialist Boone Logan who has a strain on his shoulder.
Motte was placed on the disabled list on April 3, 2016 with a strain on his right shoulder. Motte pitched in six games as a relief pitcher for the Albuquerque Isotopes during a rehabilitation assignment with a record of no wins and no wins and no losses with an earned run average of 3.18.
Logan's time on the 15 day disabled list is retroactive to May 18. Rockies trainer Keith Duggar said the injury to Logan's shoulder is not serious enough to keep him out of the starting rotation for a long period of time.
Logan can become a free agent at the end of the 2016 baseball season.
