My 6-Year-Old is Being Recognized This Evening

She apparently was one of a select group of area students who had their school artwork chosen to be part of a special display at our area art center. They are honoring her and the other kids at 5 this evening.
She is a pretty talented artist (I had her illustrate one of my children's books) so it isn't much of a surprise. But, we don't even know which piece of artwork was picked. We asked her but she was never told.

She must be so excited. Of course you are proud of her as well. You should take a picture of her work and post it here.

@ilocosboy Oh, there are artists in my family too. My dad, before he had health issues, used to make beautiful wood work sculptures and my brother also has that talent. It skipped me though.
